CARBOXY THERAPY
Hair has always been one of the strengths of both men and women.
Premature hair loss can lead to self-esteem issues, causing a general loss of confidence in public.
Today it is possible to prevent this phenomenon thanks to cutting-edge techniques such as Carboxytherapy, which can clearly reduce hair loss.
The patient who comes to the Haquos Center will find innovative techniques and highly specialized medical staff, ready to follow him along his path.
What kind of treatment is it?
It increases the rate and quality of hair regrowth and, at the same time, partially inhibits the phenomena of apoptosis that lead to premature hair loss.
The physiology of the sebaceous glands also shows a significant response in the normalization of the quantity and quality of the sebum produced and in the resolution of the phenomena of seborrheic dermatitis.
What is that?
Non-surgical technique in which carbon dioxide (CO2) is injected into the dermis via a micro-needle.
Carbon dioxide stimulates oxygenation: the red blood cells, in fact, to eliminate excess CO2, release oxygen in the blood vessels and take on the CO2 to bring it to the lungs, where it is eliminated by breathing.
The increase in oxygenation leads to angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels capable of carrying a greater number of nutrients to the follicles of the scalp.
How long does it take to see results and how often is the treatment repeated?
The results are visible after a few months, the treatment is generally long-lasting but must still be repeated about 4 times a year.
How is the treatment carried out?
The treatment is carried out on an outpatient basis, the recommended sessions are 1 per week for 10 weeks.
Generally, patients tolerate the discomfort of micro-needle penetration very well, however an anesthetic ointment can be applied upon request.
What time of year is it recommended to carry out the treatment?
It is possible to carry out the treatment at any time of the year since exposure to the summer sun or the cold do not hinder the normal procedure of the therapy in any way.

Carboxytherapy generally has no side effects since the excess CO2 is then naturally eliminated through breathing.
